Glossary of statuses Plain-language meanings for common statuses and enumerated values in the interface, from applicant status through visa, workforce support and invoice states.

Selected statuses and enumerated values used across recruitment, HR and CRM workflows. Statuses are shown as stored codes so this page is searchable against what you see in an API response or a filter.
Acronyms # Common terms used when describing HRTEQ and its workflows.
CRM Customer Relationship Management — organizing relationships and interactions with employers, applicants and other contacts.
HRM Human Resource Management — coordinating people, records and workforce administration.
HRTech Technology that supports human resources operations and workforce management.
RecruitTech Technology that supports talent acquisition, applicant management and recruitment operations.
AI Artificial intelligence — used to assist tasks such as extracting information from résumés for staff review. People and access # UserTypeMeaning STAFFAgency staff. Their StaffRole decides what they can write. APPLICANTA worker signing in to the applicant portal. EMPLOYERA principal contact signing in to the employer portal. PLATFORMAn HRTEQ operator, outside any single organization.

DEPLOYEDSet automatically when any application reaches the Deployed stage. INACTIVEDormant. Eligible for retention review if they never had an application. BLACKLISTEDExcluded from endorsement.

TerminalReasonMeaning WITHDRAWNThe applicant pulled out. REJECTEDThe principal declined. FAILED_MEDICALThe clinic returned unfit. VISA_DENIEDThe embassy refused. RESERVED is worth calling out: it means acceptable but not selected now — a backup rather than a rejection.

REJECTEDNot acceptable. Carries a mandatory reason. EXPIREDWas verified, expiry has passed. Set by the nightly sweep at 01:00.
